Important
message from SNPR:
SNPR has taken some big financial
hits lately. Gizmo girl needed major
surgery for stones ($958), Jazzy
ended up in Dallas and needed her
eye removed along with a few weeks
of boarding ($700), Clinton's eye
needed removal ($520), and we took
in a lot of pugs in a short amount
of time. Even "healthy" pugs end up
costing us a couple of hundred
dollars once we neuter them
and get them up to date on shots.
This has left us with an outstanding
bill of $3,701 at our vet's office.
Unfortunately, this limits our
ability to take in pugs, and is
forcing us to make some tough
decisions. Summer always leads to an
increase in needy pugs, and we need
your help so we can continue taking
in pugs. Here are a few ways you can
help SNPR:
1) We are having a fundraiser at The
Soggy Dog from Sunday, May 20th
through Sunday June 3rd. All you
have to do is print out the flyer
below (we will also post it on our
webpage), bring the flyer and your
dogs (any breed!) during the
fundraising dates into the Soggy Dog
for a "Save SNPR-Scrub Your Pugs"
doggy wash. The Soggy Dog will
donate $5 from each wash to SNPR. If
you have never done a do it yourself
dog wash before, it's the best-no
mess in your house! Please help
spread the word about this
fundraiser, as any dog is welcome
and every wash helps us. On May
27th, at the Soggy Dog from 8am to
12pm, we will be having an adoption
event where you can come out and
meet some of our adorable adoptables.
Details and directions are on the
flyer posted here:

(2) You can make a donation directly
to SNPR by using our Paypal link on
our webpage:
http://rescuepugs.com/.
(3) The Barking Dog (9325 South
Cimarron Road #145) is also
collecting donations and supplies
for us throughout the month of May.
(4) Besides donating or fostering,
another wonderful way to help is by
adopting an older pug or one with
medical issues. These pugs are no
less deserving of finding their
special forever home, and each
adoption makes way for one more pug
to come in! Some of our pugs have
been waiting an awfully long time
for their forever home-could that
person be you? You can come and meet
some of them at our event on May
27th!
Thank you for all your support and
we hope to see you at the Soggy Dog.
We will also be adding a District
meet-up on May 18th, so stay tuned
for details.
